Over and under

One of the last activities in book 1 with 5 year-olds was introducing the concepts of “over” and “under”.
What we did was comparing them and providing the children with several examples. To reinforce the concepts, we created a small obstacle, a chair, and children demonstrated they had understood by crawling under and over furniture.
With this activity we worked mathematical and linguistic competences but most of all we had a great time.
