Family and colour blue

With the objective of remembering family members and build new vocabulary on the topic, we are working Family Members with 3-year-olds in the English class.

We introduced these members on book 1 and now we remind children that each family is different because the number of sisters and brothers might be different, although usually these are the members: mother, father, brother, sister, baby.

This time, we have introduced Grandparents, asking them to look at the pictures on the book and talking about their grandfather and grandmother´s names.

In the pre-math section, the colour blue has been introduced, showing children pictures of blue objects and pointing to as many blue objects as they can see in the classroom. On the book, there are several activities like circle the blue objects, and listen to a poem.
