Up-Down

This week, 3-year-old children have seen the difference between up and down in English.
With a couple of activities we introduced children to the up and down concepts.
First, we asked children to stand in a circle. Then, we showed them how to stretch their arms up over their heads. And we played the following game: “Now, we are up and when I count to three, we will sit down: one, two, three! Now, we are down and when I count to three, we will stand up. Count with me! One, two, three!

In the books, we did activities on pages 16 and 17, that consisted on pointing to the cat while saying UP or DOWN, and circle the girl who is up the slide and draw a square around the boy who is down.
