Parts of my Body and Parts of my Face

This week children are observing pictures, three-year-olds for their first time in English, introducing the parts of the face and the parts of the body.
First, we ask children to look at the pictures on the digital board and while the mini-teacher points out to the picture while the rest of the class touches each of their body parts and repeats the words to practice them. Four-year-olds have to draw hair, eyes, ears, mouth and nose on the face. The eldest children try something more difficult, which is listening carefully to the word said by the teacher and circle the correct picture on their books.

With these games and activities they identify parts of the face, increase self-awareness and build vocabulary. Self-awareness is a very important social skill because by developing a strong sense of awareness they will develop the ability to interact with others in a confident way.
