New book, new home schooling

As we have started a new book, today we will do a new Home Schooling. It consists on listening and repeating (only once!) Track 1 of the new page you will find in the plastic folder.

Remember to colour the faces on green, yellow or red depending on the accuracy of the pronunciation of the child.

If possible, bring back to school the plastic envelop on Friday for its assessment. Thank you.

Over and under

One of the last activities in book 1 with 5 year-olds was introducing the concepts of “over” and “under”.

What we did was comparing them and providing the children with several examples. To reinforce the concepts, we created a small obstacle, a chair, and children demonstrated they had understood by crawling under and over furniture.

With this activity we worked mathematical and linguistic competences but most of all we had a great time.

Language Skills in the English Class

With the new book, lots of funny, interesting and stimulating activities are waiting to be done.

In the language skills section, we have stories, songs, vocabulary, and so many things for children to enjoy the English class.

Good bye Book 1 and Welcome Book 2!

Before taking home book 1 of English, already finished up, children visited the English Department where they were given the new books. Book 2 comes personalized with Sansueña´s logo and a beautiful design.

They liked it immediately and couldn´t wait to get to the classroom to scan its pages.

The new books were given to all pupils:

5-year-olds: Balloons, Bubbles, Bikes.

4-year-olds: Rainbow, Kite, Bees.

3-year-olds: Seesaw, Seahorse, Fish.

4 años observa el otoño

Los niños de 4 años, salen a los jardines del colegio, para observar el otoño y jugar con las hojas.

Poesía: El viento

Los niños de 5 años os dedican esta otoñal poesía.

¡Arboles de otoño!

Nuestros pequeños artistas de tres años os invitan a visitar su preciosa exposición de pintura titulada "Árboles de otoño", situada en el pasillo de tres años, junto a sus clases.

Con la técnica del bastoncillo y pintura de dedos sobre plato de papel, realizaron sus particulares árboles de otoño.

Disfrutaron muchísimo y les quedaron preciosos.
